Clerk of Court

The Clerk of Court is responsible for general oversight and functioning of the Clerk’s office, and other responsibilities designated by the Ohio Revised Code. The Clerk of Court will delegate certain functions, such as accepting filings, processing cases and updating files to a deputy clerk. The Clerk’s office consists of a criminal/traffic division and a civil division.

Steven Tomaszewski has been Clerk of Court for the Shaker Heights Municipal Court since 2009. Prior to that time, he served as a deputy clerk in the Court beginning in 1995.
