Anne Walton Keller, Administrative and Presiding Judge

Anne Walton Keller was elected Judge of the Shaker Heights Municipal Court in 2021. Prior to her election, Judge Keller was a Magistrate for over 5 years in the Shaker Heights Municipal Court, presiding over criminal, traffic and civil matters. She began her career practicing criminal litigation in federal, state and municipal courts throughout Ohio. She has taught continuing legal education seminars for the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Ohio Judicial College, the Parma Bar Association, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and other organizations. Judge Keller has served on the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors for the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. She is the President-Elect of the William K. Thomas American Inn of Court, an association of lawyers, judges, and other legal professionals who share a commitment to professionalism, ethics, and civility in the legal profession. A lifelong resident of the Court district, Judge Keller is grateful for the opportunity to serve our community.
